- Its two bright screens can be adjusted to four levels to adapt to different lighting conditions and to extend battery power
- The microphone sits in the center of the unit, and the LED lights are clearly visible whether the unit is open or closed
- The stylus is 1 centimeter longer and 1 millimeter thicker than the stylus of the original, and slides into a side storage slot
- The Start and Select buttons were repositioned for easier access

| i love the ds. but it's cheaply made. after 6 months, the screen doesn't stay open. another six months and it stopped working, it won't even turn on. i am now on my third ds. if you buy it, make sure you buy insurance/replacement insurance. thay make more games for the ds than the sony psp. when this one dies, i will probably buy another ds again. |

| I have a couple of mindless hand-held games that I play. They run out of batteries and constantly need to be replaced. I decided that purchasing a Nintendo DS Lite would be a good idea. This particular model was a limited Pink Ribbon edition at a discount. I have a purchased one game and a collection of games. I love it and it is much better thank those hand held games. Should have done this a long time ago! |

| My daughter chose this DS over a new DSi because she loves Pokemon, and she loves this one! She spent her own money and is thrilled with the product. |
